Until I encountered Kim Snowden's inspired work I could never have surmised that art, much more than conventional religion, could bring one closer to the Spirit. Kim's sculptures emanate and speak deeply of ancient energy, thought and wisdom. She possesses the courage to so willingly and lovingly channel to us these powerful energies from the past and the future, from parallel universes and non-ordinary realities. Her achievement is that she translates these forces into a language that is attainable for us to understand and a joy to experience.

To experience the sculptures of Kim Snowden is to enter into a world of mystical communications. Her sculptures are like mantras to me: as I take them in, they take me in, into the presence of a consciousness that is profound and mysterious yet accessible to me. As I gaze upon them, allowing them to speak to me, I consistently become calmer and surer of myself. There is a presence of profound depth in her sculptues, a presence which is inviting and accessible, yet uncontainable by my conscious mind. This uncontainability is exactly what makes her sculptures so exciting. They are ever urging me forward to greater realization, ever escaping my intellect’s desire to quantify their expression. Kim Snowden’s sculptures are mystical in this way, she possesses the incredibly unique ability to sculpt as a medium for states of consciousness we all desperately need to cultivate.
